The Moore Law Firm would like to congratulate attorney Jared T. Moore for his successful defense of a Moorefield man charged with Assault.
A Hardy County Jury returned a verdict of not guilty on September 15, 2014. The individual was charged with assaulting a neighbor with a baseball bat in the Misty Terrace area of Moorefield. During the trial, the prosecution offered testimony from the investigating officer, the alleged victim, a bystander who witnessed the event. According to the bystander, the man was waving what appeared to be a baseball bat at one of his neighbors in a threatening manner.
The jury deliberated for less than 10 minutes before finding the man not guilty.
